She oversees the property management department and the long-term stewardship and health of our homes. Keyla enjoys meeting Shires residents and supporting more families in need of housing.

Rosemarie has been with Shires for over 7 years and loves being able to connect applicants to new homes and opportunities. She loves walking her dog, Paisley, each and every morning and playing volleyball and pickleball. She believes that everyone should have stable, affordable housing to sustain themselves and their family in today’s society. Working at Shires, she is happy to see this happening daily!

Kate brings a passion for environmental science, landscape design, and equity to this role. Kate is responsible for ushering Shires’ housing development projects from concept to completion. Kate previously served on Shires’ Board of Directors.

Jan initially joined Shires in 2022 to support property management. In 2023 she transitioned to assist Shires’ housing development efforts. She brings a smile, love for community, and a passion for housing access to her work.

Cat joins Shires from her previous role of Director of Planning for the Bennington County Regional Commission where she developed housing policies and regulations with the organization’s 17 member municipalities in southwestern Vermont.
Bryars is a resident of Bennington and is strongly committed to the communities Shires serves. She moved to Bennington from Mexico with her husband in 2016 to work with the BCRC, and they have since started a young family that roots them in the area.

Becky has been with our team for over 6 years and we can’t imagine working without her. She is dedicated to connecting housing with wellness and ensuring that our residents and SASH participants have access to the resources they need. Becky has seemingly endless talents and passions, from flower arranging to farming to providing virtual dementia tours and, of course, baking.

Tina serves as SASH coordinator for the Deerfield Valley community. Unlike our other coordinators who serve both a specific housing development and individuals spread throughout the community, Tina’s SASH participants are all spread out, many “literally in the middle of nowhere.” Tina brings optimism to our team and says she often feels as though her participants help her more than she helps them in ways she can’t explain. “I love my job and my participants. Each and every one of them are special to me in their own way,” Tina says.

Debbie serves as the SASH coordinator for the Brookside panel. She describes herself as a “local girl” and grew up in Bennington before marrying her husband of 44 years. She has a daughter and son and four grandchildren, and says that her passion for helping other people is what brought her to Shires Housing/SASH.

Kim serves as the SASH coordinator for the Walloomsac panel and is the newest member of our team. She was born and raised in Williamstown, Mass. and attended McCann Technical School in North Adams. She currently resides in Pownal with her husband Daryl and is the proud mother of two sons, step-mother of 2 step-sons and 8 grandchildren. When not helping her SASH participants stay healthy and independent, Kim enjoys football, traveling, and spending time with her granddaughter.

Morgyn joined Shires in 2022 with lots of energy and ideas to brighten the days of the residents she serves.

Tanya came on board with the SASH team in 2022 to serve residents at Butterfield Commons in Dover, VT.

Jenna joined Shires in 2023 as a full-time wellness nurse serving Shires SASH participants. She is an R.N. who is passionate about preventative health care.
